GIN

Spirit of Harrogate: Independent alcoholic drinks company, Spirit of Harrogate, the Home of Slingsby Gin, is made with only the finest natural and locally sourced botanicals, Harrogate aquifer water and pure single grain spirit. The key botanicals are locally grown plants that are synonymous with the beautiful and restorative nature of Harrogate and the core juniper is complemented with other botanicals that have been sourced.

Masons Yorkshire Gin: Launched on World Gin Day 2013 it has got bags of attitude and a real sense of uniqueness. Distilled using the traditional London dry gin method, in a small copper alembic still, Masons Yorkshire Gin is truly a small batch craft gin, with each bottle bearing its own hand written batch and bottle number.

Whittakers Gin: Whittaker’s Gin is a family business run from our home Harewell House Farm in the heart of Nidderdale in North Yorkshire. They are passionate about Yorkshire and where they live and about the amazing local produce which they are so proud to be part of.

Sloemotion Ltd: Sloemotion are premium gin and liqueur producers based at Green Farm, in the village of Barton-le-Willows, just north of York. They began 13 years ago after carrying out work to help wildlife on the farm, resulting in a proliferation of sloes growing in the hedgerows; these provided the seed from which Sloemotion was born. From small beginnings the business has blossomed and continues to flourish today with brothers Joff and Julian Curtoys at the helm and an award-winning team behind them.

Spirit of Masham: The “Spirit of Masham” Dry Yorkshire Gin is an Artisan Gin, created by Corks and Cases of Masham. The Gin is handcrafted and is produced in small batches in a copper alembic still using the London Dry Gin method. The “Spirit of Masham” is distilled using the botanicals from our very own Corks and Cases Masala Chai Tea and Hops.

Harrogate Tipple: The home of Premium Harrogate Gin and Premium Harrogate Rum. At Harrogate Tipple they create and distill their very own gin and rum which are uniquely handcrafted from local ingredients. Proud to use Harrogate Spring Water to make the gin and the natural botanicals found in the Tipple are grown straight from the Harrogate earth at RHS Garden Harlow Carr. The Harrogate Rum is blended with Elderflower honey, sourced right from the edges of the Spa Town. 

York Gin Company: York Gin is hand-made in the York Gin Company’s distillery in the city – the very first gin from York.  They use traditional methods to make their classic dry gin in their beautiful copper still named Ebor, after the Roman name for York, Eboracum.

Cooper King Distillery: Located in the heart of Yorkshire, Cooper King Distillery is a family-owned micro-distillery producing outstanding spirits underpinned by craftsmanship, honesty and adventure. Cooper King Distillery is England’s only self-built whisky and gin distillery, and one of only a handful in the country to run on 100% green energy. Founded in 2014 by Dr Abbie Neilson, a former scientist and Chris Jaume, a chartered architect, the venture was inspired by Chris’s great-great-grandfather, Charles Cooper King, whose family has rich historical ties to Yorkshire dating back to 1030. The recently launched Cooper King Dry Gin is hand-distilled with honey from their own beehives and a touch of local lavender, making for an excellent sipping gin.

Hotham’s Gin School and Distillery: This team are located in Hepworth’s Arcade, in the Old Town of Hull. Gin lovers are able to visit the Distillery not only to buy bottles of Hotham’s Gin, but also to join in a unique experience day where they will learn about the history of gin, botanicals and the gin making process, finally distilling their own unique bottle of gin to take home.

WINE

Holmfirth Vineyard: Holmfirth Vineyard is a beautiful seven acre vineyard set in 360 degree views of the national Peak District. Established in 2007, Holmfirth Vineyard has been going from strength to strength producing a number of award wining wines, soft fruity reds, dry Rose´ and lightly aromatic floral whites.

Bon Coeur Fine Wines Ltd: Bon Coeur Fine Wines list has tremendous depth, selling everyday drinking wines, champagne and port, to the specialisation of Burgundy and Bordeaux En Primeur wine. The business employs over fifteen staff locally, is family run and is based just off the A66 near Scotch Corner in North Yorkshire.

Little Wold Vineyard: Nestled in the Yorkshire Wolds, boasting gorgeous panoramic views down to the Humber, Little Wold Vineyard has a vineyard boasting 2000 vines and on their tours will have the chance to have a look at the vines up close, see the different varieties they grow on the farm and have the opportunity to taste the wine made here.

There are also many great wine bars in Sheffield and York.

COFFEE

Roost Coffee & Roastery: David and Ruth Elkington are the founders of ROOST Coffee & Roastery. They are the founders and previous owners for 3 years of the successful CottonHouse Coffee Shop in Helmsley. They always wanted to open a coffee shop, serving great coffee. They chose to live in Helmsley, in the North York Moors National Park as a great place to bring up their family and open a high quality coffee shop. 

York Coffee Emporium: This is York’s only independent artisan coffee roaster supplying high quality freshly roasted gourmet coffee and specialty loose leaf teas to Hotels, Restaurants and Cafes, Deli’s and specialist shops, and Internet based at-home customers.

Rounton Coffee: They are a Micro Coffee Roaster based in the beautiful village of East Rounton, North Yorkshire. The mission is simple – they want to source and then roast some of the most exclusive coffee’s from around the world. In this charming North Yorkshire village we have lovingly converted an old Granary into a small Artisan Roastery.

LIQUEUR & SPIRITS:

Rhucello: If you are a rhubarb lover you’ve come to the right place! Here at Rhucello, we believe in the superiority of rhubarb over ​other fruits, and they’ve made this fine liqueur to help prove it! Try it against some other drinks and we’re sure you’ll agree.

Demijohn: 10 years ago Demijohn began and has tickled tastebuds all over the world with its array of unusual spirits, liqueurs, oils, vinegars and whiskies. It’s York shop is at 11 Museum St. Each product is sourced from small artisan producers who have a passion for fine food and drink.  

The Little Red Berry Company: They are a North Yorkshire based company and you’ll find Berry HQ at Copt Hewick near the city of Ripon. Set up by owner, Rachel Jamieson in 2011. Here, they produce alcoholic liqueurs and favoured gins, perfect for cocktails, with a cheese board or creating a different style G&T. They also put a modern twist on a traditional product.

Yorkshire Dales Distillery: Creators of artisan spirits, using hand selected Yorkshire botanicals and an ancient and unique natural mineral water drawn from the Dales. The spirits are created, developed, distilled and bottled solely at their distillery based in North Yorkshire. All products are hand bottled, labelled and signed with a unique batch number by our distiller.

WHISKY:

Spirit of Yorkshire: At the Spirit of Yorkshire Distillery in Hunmanby, they’re making the county’s first single malt whisky! They’re obsessed with distilling, from grain to glass. Their instinctive approach is all about taking the best of tradition and applying new thinking. They didn’t set out to just replicate Scotch, but to create a whisky that is filled with its own unique spirit and that of the local area.

CIDER: 

Pure North Cider Press: Nestled in the Holme Valley lies The Pure North Cider Press. Producing the finest natural cider from a blend of traditional cider apples. Fermented naturally and full of anti-oxidants, our ciders are lovingly nurtured, pressed by hand and delivered with care.

Orchards of Husthwaite: Producers of ciders, fruit gins and fruit brandies. They run cider and gin bars at food and music festivals.

Ampleforth Abbey: Sitting on the foothills of the North Yorkshire Moors, Ampleforth Abbey Orchards boasts over 40 different varieties of heritage apples, populating over 2,000 trees which span over seven acres. The award-winning artisan range of ciders and apple products are produced onsite in our cider mill which is nestled within the Ampleforth Abbey Orchards.

TONIC:

Yorkshire Tonic: Raisthorpe Manor Fine Foods, winner of 5 stars at the 2018 Great Taste Awards, celebrates its 10th anniversary this year with the launch of its new Yorkshire Tonic range.  Founder Julia Medforth started the business on her kitchen table and her small team still produces artisan gins, vodkas, whisky and ports on the farm at Wharram in the Yorkshire Wolds. Flavours include Oak Aged Dry Gin, Elderflower, Rhubarb, Rose, Violet and Gooseberry Gin Liqueurs and 9ct Shimmering Toffee Caramel or Blood Orange Vodka Liqueurs. Gift products include Stackers and Tipsy Drinks Cards.
