Sukhothai is the home of authentic Thai cuisine in Yorkshire, with 4 restaurants in total – 3 in Leeds, at Chapel Allerton, Headingley and our newest restaurant on South Parade in Leeds City Centre, plus their Harrogate restaurant too.

Sukhothai translated in to English is “The Dawn of Happiness” which is apt because once you’ve visited one of the four restaurants you will certainly leave happy (and full!)

Sukhothai’s Head Chef & Owner Ban Kaewkraikhot ran a successful Bangkok restaurant for 8 years, so she certainly knows what she’s doing when it comes to creating and serving delicious authentic food. She opened the original Sukhothai restaurant in the heart of Chapel Allerton in 2002 and since then, they have earned a reputation for delivering knock out dishes that have the locals rushing back and back for more.
